The Word

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Author, C.J.  Mahaney tells us in his book "The Cross Centered Life"

"First importance.  The Bible tells us that, while there are many different callings and many different areas of  service in the kingdom of God, one transcendent truth should define our lives. One simple truth should motivate our work and impact each part of who we are.

Christ died for our sins.

If there is anything in this life that we should be passionate about, it should be the gospel.  And I do not mean only about sharing it with others.  We should be passionate in thinking about the gospel, meditating on it, being delighted in it, permitting it to transform the way we look at the world.  Only one thing should be of first importance to each one of us.  And only the gospel should be.”

John 4:8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.

9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.

10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."

  • Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins which is eternal death and separation from God and man.
  • Jesus Christ has risen from dead to prove himself to be the Son of God and that to all those who believe in Him have hope that they to will rise and live with Him forever.
  • Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and prays for all of humanity that we would repent and believe on Him and love Him the way He loves us.
  • Jesus Christ promised and will return, at the end of time, for all of us who believe and trust Him.

We do not come from the goo! We did not just slime our way into exsistence!

We were created to live in harmony, peace and in love with one and other, and with our loving heavenly Father. That’s the hope, the destiny, the truth for all who believe.

Ministry Teams
pastors portrait

Anticipation was high as our first
fivefold ministry team came to minister to the “mother” church in Minatitlan, area pastors, to the students at iBEK, and in local churches.

The first team of six men, led by Jeff King, came to Mexico February 7-14.This
team represented 4 churches, 3 states, and 2 associations, all serving 1 God! The theme, "GRACE", was displayed by the team’s diversity. Their ministry was eagerly received and many, many people were prophesied over for the first time in their lives!

The second team of three men, led by Ray Warren, represented Grace Churches International.  They ministered to larger crowds May 28 - June 5 in the same places to very enthusiastic people who had their appetites whetted by the first team. The theme for this team was “TEAM MINISTRY”, which challenged the pastors and leaders to raise up strong teams in the authority of the church and in the ministries of the church.

I would like to personally thank brother Mark Lohner and Mike Chellis for their hard work

translating and for their counsel and advice
coordinating these events.

This winter the first generation of 8 students left iBek to do their apprenticeships serving in local churches in southern Mexico. the second generation of 8 students entered to begin their first year.

We had two teams in March from Indiana and Wisconsin, who came to complete the dorm rooms. The Indiana group worked tirelessly to install all the trim work and doors, painting, staining and varnishing everything in sight!

The Wisconsin group was a whirlwind of constuction, staining, varninshing, building 8 setrs of bunk beds and installing closets with shelves. Both teams donated additional funds to purchase desks for each dorm room. In May, we donated a computer with all the bible courses on it and a program to listen and practice English.

Dietrick Updates

Praise the Lord for times of refreshing! Our last group left on Good Friday and 42 hours later we left Mexico on Easter Sunday, heading for the border. On this trip we visited the southern and east coast chuches, as well as family and friends. It was wonderful to reconnect with everyone, eat some great food, (perhaps a little too much), and enjoy some southern hospitality. A big Grasias! to everyone who kept us, invited us to their homes and ministered to us. We drove for 7 days to return to Mexico on May 20. Our home was orderly and we began to prepare for the pastor's team that would arrive in six days.

LOOK

upon the fields for they are ripe for harvest

Jesus said never said you had to sell your home, give away your dog, and yard sale all your stuff. He simply commands us to LOOK upon the harvest. An easy and eye-opening way to do that is to put a team together and come visit us in Mexico. We're close, we're safe and it's a reasonable way to LOOK upon the fields.

So ~ clean your house, pet your dog,
and sell some of your stuff so you can
take a trip that will open your eyes and
change your world view forever!
