We received two groups this winter from Indiana and Wisconsin. We finished the roofs of the second story at the churches in San Rafael and Campo Grande.

The Word

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Author, C.J.  Mahaney tells us in his book "The Cross Centered Life"

"First importance.  The Bible tells us that, while there are many different callings and many different areas of  service in the kingdom of God, one transcendent truth should define our lives. One simple truth should motivate our work and impact each part of who we are.

Christ died for our sins.

If there is anything in this life that we should be passionate about, it should be the gospel.  And I do not mean only about sharing it with others.  We should be passionate in thinking about the gospel, meditating on it, being delighted in it, permitting it to transform the way we look at the world.  Only one thing should be of first importance to each one of us.  And only the gospel should be.” 

John 4:8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.

9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.

10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."

 

  • Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins which is eternal death and separation from God and man.
  • Jesus Christ has risen from dead to prove himself to be the Son of God and that to all those who believe in Him have hope that they to will rise and live with Him forever.
  • Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and prays for all of humanity that we would repent and believe on Him and love Him the way He loves us.
  • Jesus Christ promised and will return, at the end of time, for all of us who believe and trust Him.

 

We do not come from the goo! We did not just slime our way into exsistence!

We were created to live in harmony, peace and in love with one and other, and with our loving heavenly Father. That’s the hope, the destiny, the truth for all who believe.

Luke 10:2
He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

Thank you for joining with us in pray. Remember that the prize is Christ and the work before us is the harvest field.

 

  1. Safety and protection from accident, injury or harm for us and the groups we receive from the States as we work on construction and in ministry.

  2. We are in the beginnig stages of planning a short term mission trip made up of Mexican nationals to Spain. Pray for finances, cooperation between us and the fraternidad, discernment in the selection of those who will be going, wisdom for all the details, and Gods favor during this entire posses. This planning stage may take up to a year and a half.

  3. iBek (Instituto Biblico Earl Kellum) opened on the 10th of April 2007. In January 8 new students arrived on campus at Sumidero for one year of intensive training and study and one year of internship in a local church or mission. Pray for success and grace for these young people as they seek the will of God for their lives. Pray for Terri as she will be starting English as a second language course with the new generation and Jeff will be teaching the first generation while they are at the institute on furlough from their internships. Jeff will also begin teaching basic doctrine to the new students in July.
  4. Pray for the Mexican National Church that they would fully grasp a vision to train, equip, and send missionaries to foreign lands and embrace a trans-cultural missions vision.

  5. Pray for the apostolic teams we are bringing down to minister in the mother church of the Fraternidad Cristiana and the Bible institute. The goal is three teams during 2008 to minister and impart apostolic vision in the local church.

  6. Please pray for Andres Flores and his wife Vicky. Andres is the pastor of the mother church of the Fraterdidad Cristiana located in Minatitlan. He his also being groomed to take over the association as it's president. Pray that God would bless him with wisdom and discernment to take the Fraternidad to next level. That he would embrace the apostolic call on the church and all that it encompasses. Pray for anointing and unity as God unfolds this vision before them. Pray also for protection, safety and provision for the ministry and family.
